Blackburn Rovers striker Danny Graham has urged his side to improve their consistency following their defeat to Wimbledon last weekend.

Tony Mowbray’s men, 5.00 to win the League One title, were one of the early favourites to get promoted but they endured a slow start.

The Lancashire club have since improved to move up to 11th in the League One table but Graham wants more.

After four wins and three defeats to their name, Blackburn have struggled to string results together and Graham insists that will need to improve.

Blackburn face Shrewsbury Town away from home this weekend and Mowbray’s side have won all of their last three away games without conceding a goal.

Graham admits his team could do more to improve their fortunes and told the Lancashire Telegraph: “We are still at that inconsistent position at the minute – we lose two, win four and then lost on Saturday.

“We need to find a bit of a middle ground where we turn some losses in to wins and pick up those extra points to keep that streak of not losing going.

“But we go again on Saturday, we go to Shrewsbury, it’s a big test they’re flying and hopefully we can put it right.”

Former Sunderland striker Graham will be determined to prove his point and earn a recall to the starting XI for the game against Shrewsbury Town.

Blackburn are the 2.38 favourites to win, with the draw 3.25, while Shrewsbury are priced at 3.10 to win.
