Scottish League Cup holders Celtic have been drawn against Hearts and face a trip to Tynecastle in the quarter-finals of this season competition.

The Bhoys dumped Hearts out in the third round last year thanks to a 3-0 win at Parkhead, with John Guidetti, Kris Commons (penalty) and an Adam Eckersley own goal doing the damage.

Hearts went on to win promotion to the Scottish Premiership last term and held Celtic to a 0-0 league draw on Saturday afternoon.

Full Scottish League Cup quarter-final draw:

Hearts v Celtic
Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Ross County
Hibernian v Dundee United
Greenock Morton v St Johnstone

Meanwhile, Celtic are next in action when they host Turkish outfit Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Ronny Deila’s men drew their opening group game against Ajax in Amsterdam and captain Scott Brown wants them to go one better this midweek.

He told Celtic TV: “We’re looking forward to it, especially after the result we got in the first game – we went away to Ajax and got a great point – it could maybe even have been three.

“It’s going to be a great atmosphere as it always is at Celtic Park and hopefully we can do ourselves justice.”

Fenerbahce’s Europa League campaign got off to a disastrous start following a shock 3-1 home defeat in their opening fixture against Molde and they were beaten 3-2 by Besiktas at the weekend in a Turkish Super Lig clash.

Celtic are 2.38 to win while Fenerbahce are 2.80 and the draw is 3.25.
