Burnley manager Sean Dyche admits his side cannot shy away from their poor away record but has urged his squad to keep fighting in their final few games.

The Clarets, 13.00 to be relegated, have not won in the league since January 31 and they are continuing to fall down the Premier League table.

Since their 1-0 win over Leicester City, Dyche’s men have lost four games and drawn three and they are still waiting for their first away win.

Burnley were held to a 0-0 draw at bottom-side Sunderland on Saturday and that allowed them to move eight points away from relegation.

The Lancashire outfit have picked up 29 points at home and Dyche admits his side cannot hide away from their away form, but he has refused to dwell on their travelling woes and wants his players to keep fighting until they are mathematically safe.

“I’m not tired of it,” Dyche told Sky Sports. “It is what it is. Facts are facts.

We know it’s tough in the Premier League so we’re under no illusion but we’ve got 32 points at this stage for a team that everyone said had got no chance.

“It’s a so-far story for us because we’ve got good points on the table considering what everyone thought of us, but it’s so far.

“We know we’ve got to keep going. We’ve got to keep getting points on the table. We’ve changed the psychology now a little bit because we’ve got the four away games out the way.

Got two points, probably deserved more. “We’re just taking each game as it comes.”
