Blackburn Rovers trio Corry Evans, Adam Henley and Tom Lawrence have been rewarded for their impressive form with international call-ups.
Evans will travel with Northern Ireland for their away game against the Faroe Islands on September 4 before they take on Hungary at home three days later.
Michael O’Neill’s men have a great chance of reaching Euro 2016 as they sit one place and one point behind leaders Romania in Group F.
Lawrence only joined the club last week from Leicester City on loan but he will soon be off on international duty after this weekend’s fixtures.
The 21-year-old has been called up by Wales boss Chris Coleman for the crucial Euro 2016 double-header against Cyprus and Israel. Joining him in the squad is Henley and the pair will be hopeful they can earn their first caps for their country.
Coleman’s side currently sit top of Group B after a blistering start to qualifying and the duo will be eager to take their country into a major competition for the first time since 1958.
Rovers captain Grant Hanley had already been called up for Scotland and boss Gary Bowyer will be hoping none of his players pick up any injuries.
The Championship club are currently second-bottom of the Championship after a bitterly disappointing start to the season.
