Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has indicated that if Spanish international Pedro is to leave the Nou Camp then the decision will be his and his alone.

Top Premier League sides Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for the 27-year-old and all they have to do to land him is to meet his release clause of 30m euros.

Pedro has been at Barcelona for a decade but he has found first team opportunities difficult to come by and that is unlikely to change in the near future as he sits behind the best front three in the world of Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Enrique was speaking after the treble winners picked up a pre-season win over LA Galaxy and said the decision will be down to Pedro.

He said: “I’m not going to say what I said, or what he told me.

“It’s the decision of the player. When he says something, then I’ll say something.”

Meanwhile, Uruguayan ace Suarez opened the scoring in California, before Sergi Roberto made sure of a 2-1. The Blaugrana are next in action against Manchester United as their pre-season tour of the United States continues.

The current Champions League holders are the favourites at 4.00 to become the first team ever to successfully defend the trophy, although they will face a battle with the rest of Europe’s elite with Real Madrid and German giants Bayern Munich both priced at 6.00 to collect the European Cup.
