The agent of Atletico Madrid’s Turkish forward Arda Turan says his client is keen to try his luck in England and has offers from a number of Premier League clubs.

The 28-year-old still has two years left on his Atleti contract but is eager for a fresh challenge, with Paris Saint-Germain also reported to be interested in the talented winger.

Turan’s agent, Ahmet Bulut, told AS: “His intention is to leave Spain this summer. His will is to leave and to play in the Premier League, that is the path he would like to take to continue his career.

“We are currently in talks with three teams, but I cannot reveal the names of the clubs. However, I can tell you that they are the best in England and in European football.

PSG is a possibility, although Arda always has the desire to play in England.”

Turan has been with the Rojiblancos for four years, helping the club win the Copa del Rey and La Liga during his time at the Vicente Calderon, while also playing a key role in the Spanish outfit reaching the Champions League final in 2014.

This summer Atletico, 17.00 to win La Liga next season, have already seen striker Mario Mandzukic leave the club to join Italian champions Juventus although they are poised to land FC Porto frontman Jackson Martinez as a replacement.

The 28-year-old Colombia international is currently on international duty at the Copa America and Martinez’s agent, Luiz Henrique Pompeo, is confident a deal is close.

He told AS: “Atleti are a very big club that has done important things in the league and in Europe.

“Jackson is going there to also achieve great things and to bring the best out of himself. That’s his dream and he’s very excited.”
