Haas currently sit fifth in the Constructors\u2019 Championship after they collected 76 points so far this season.<\/h2>\n<p>Grosjean has struggled for form this year and he has only picked up 27 of those and he is now 14th in the Drivers\u2019 Championship as a result. <\/p>\n<p>The Frenchman has picked up nine penalty points this year and he was also disqualified from the Italian Grand Prix earlier this month. <\/p>\n<p>The 32-year-old has been with the American team since they were formed in 2016, while Magnussen joined last year. <\/p>\n<p>Magnussen has caught the eye this year and he has picked up 49 points after some impressive drives. While other teams made their drivers\u2019 announcements early, Haas has taken its time but team principal Guenther Steiner insists it was an easy decision to keep both men. In a statement, he said: <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Retaining both drivers was a pretty easy decision. &#8220;From the very beginning, we needed experienced drivers to hasten the development of our car and our team, and we have two very good and experienced drivers in Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Both drivers push each other to be better, and their collective feedback allows us to be better. &#8220;It&#8217;s not a coincidence that in their second year as team-mates, Haas F1 Team is having its best year.
